The Irish Hunger Memorial (An Gorta Mor)
Memorial for a half-acre site at Battery Park City, New York. Design consists of 25 Irish Yews, 20 ft. tall standing stones across the site,
carved granite tablets telling the story of the Hunger, and on the other side, of the success of the Irish in America, and a 75 ft. tall
Irish "Sword of Light," or a "Blade of Grass growing from the ruins."
